Ana's goal as the Professional Development Chair is to increase accessibility and awareness of job opportunities and well-preparedness pre-entry to the workforce for FGLI students

Kerry is excited to be a part of the Penn First board because she gets to meet with and be an advocate for First Generation and/or Low Income students on campus. She's also excited to plan events to foster strong relationships between FGLI students.

Sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences. Majoring in Physics with an Astrophysics concentration.
Sebastian is excited to be on the board because it gives him the chance to represent his fellow FGLI students in order to ensure their well-being. He is especially excited to meet everyone in the community and hear what they would like him to do on their behalf.

As someone who was born and raised in Philly, Frehiwet is excited to get the FGLI community at Penn involved with the larger FGLI community in the city through service.

Lyndsi is super proud of her FGLI status. Though being a FGLI student comes with its hardships, it also gives us more skills than our more privileged peers. Penn First has been the perfect outlet for Lyndsi to advocate for the needs of students similar to herself.

"This year, I'm really excited to be part of Penn First as Mentorship Chair because mentorship has been a significant part of my life here at Penn. With that said, it's my intention to work with Mohammad to make a great mentoring program for you all to participate in this year!"
