Finance and Operations Chair
Melissa is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and the first in her family to attend a private college. She's studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Survey Research and Data Analytics in the College of Arts and Sciences. She's beyond excited to be the first official Finance Chair of Penn First and hopes to establish a strong foundation for the group when it comes to financial decisions.

Louis is a Junior in the College studying Health and Societies and Political Science, and minoring in Asian American Studies, Education Policy, and Environmental Studies. He is so excited to work with FGLI students and campus partners to advocate for more FGLI resources for post-grad success!

Sebastian Gonzalez is a junior in the College studying Astrophysics and is a proud member of the Penn First Board. His pride stems from how devoted he is to the FGLI community and the pursuit of his goal of making Penn 100% accessible to all FGLI students. He would be thrilled to receive messages containing anything from questions, suggestions, comments, and/or concerns.

Maribel is a sophomore in Wharton studying Marketing with a minor in Law and Society. Maribel is excited to make Penn First more accessible and user-friendly for the FGLI community. She hopes to branch Penn First out on multiple social media platforms to make sure everyone has the information needed to thrive at Penn.

Community Outreach Chair
Keira is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Biology and following the pre-med track. Keira is passionate about responsible community service and this year she is excited to plan volunteer events specifically for Penn First members and act as a point of contact for members of the FGLI community to find FGLI friendly community service opportunities on campus.

Diego is a freshman in the College thinking International Relations and Sociology. He is a proud Venezuelan immigrant and the first of his family to go to college. He is a really passionate about helping other FGLI students navigate their way at Penn and loves to learn about new ways that he can make an impact on campus. As Freshmen Liaison, he hopes to connect freshmen with Penn First and inform them about the opportunities are available to them.

Candy is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Communications and Public Service and minoring in Legal Studies and History.

Lyndsi is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Psychology and minoring in Hispanic Studies. Lyndsi is super proud of her FGLI status. Though being a FGLI student comes with its hardships, it also gives us more skills than our more privileged peers. Penn First has been the perfect outlet for Lyndsi to advocate for the needs of students similar to herself.

Eden is a senior majoring in Bioengineering. She is extremely passionate about promoting minority presence in STEM, particularly for first generation and low income students. In her free time, she loves going for runs and promoting environmental activism.

Sakshi is a freshman studying pre-med in the College of Arts and Sciences and hopes to major in either Cognitive Science or Philosophy. She is a proud Indian immigrant and is privileged to be on the board of an organization committed to helping first-generation, low-income students. Sakshi hopes to use her four years at Penn in a meaningful way committed to serving the community and empowering more FGLI students, beginning with the freshman community.
